Upon checking in at Golden Tulip, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and colorful lobby. The energy in the hotel is infectious, and I immediately felt welcomed. The Executive Plus check-in area was a unique feature, and I loved being able to choose complimentary body care items from their bar. The room itself was spacious with a good-sized bathroom, offering a beautiful view of Shanghai.

This hotel is located in a great part of town. There is a large shopping centre nearby as well as plenty of local food places. the city centre is just a short taxi ride away. the rooms are spacious and clean, with large bathrooms stocked with all the toiletries you could need. the service is friendly and helpful, with the concierge staff always happy to recommend local attractions. the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of foods and is served in a lovely banquet hall. the hotel also boasts two nice bars, one of which has breathtaking views.
Some guests have reported occasional issues with the air conditioning, although the hotel staff are reportedly quick to address the issue.

Hotel near Chang Ning area east to access by taxi. Clean and confirtable & fair price.
No restaurant or shopping area near hotel at least by walk. I have spend 30 minutes walk around hotel to have chinese dinner. Two restaurant I could find very near hotel were Japanese, but I did not want to have Japanese dinner at Shanghai.

It is well located, at the Embassy Area: western restaurants near, and great malls.
The hotel charged me three (3) times the check on my credit card. I am still waiting to the return.

The Jin Jiang Rainbow Hotel was very well located for my business in Shanghai. The staff did a very good job in meeting my travel needs, and language was not a barrier. I would stay at the Rainbow Hotel again in Shanghai.

i liked the most to have excellent access to Minhang, Gubei, Hongqiao and other important areas for my assignment. I also like that this hotel has a potential to become a nostalgic hotel of the 90ies in China, where you can experience all the attitudes and architectural specialities of that time-period. Further positive issue is that a dispute on late arrival was solved in a very elegant way by cutting the booked rate down by one day
Almost everything else. Especially the bathroom was a challenge. Warm water was practically not running and the bathtub so dirty that i decided even not to go barefoot into the tub itself to take a shower.for 280 RMB more i got an accommodation across the street at HoJo including breakfast, 30 RMB less for WLAN, a clean room with was actually an appartment !!!

Super clean and luxurious property. Has restaurants and many facilities, including a swimming pool, table tennis, and self-washing machine room. Staff is attentive and helpful. Within walking distance of a nice cheap Chinese lobster barbecue place. a great stay with a 5-star hotel feel.

Facilities in exec rooms are more than exceptional. Everything you could think of needing and very large. Standard room was $60 abd fantastic value for central good class location in such a big city. Amazing. Breakfast great for Asians but poor by European standards. Still you get eggs any way you want. Top floor 'bar' for businessmen!
Second stay at hotel and only at reception does anyone speak English. Makes asking for simple thinks entertaining if you have time, frustrating if you're in a hurry!

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel nestled in a pleasant neighborhood secluded from the crowded touristy areas. This place is conveniently located near a large shopping center, making it a perfect choice for avid shoppers like myself. Furthermore, it is rather close to the Hongqiao airport, making transportation to and from the hotel a breeze. The staff at this venue went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, ensuring I felt valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The amenities offered were top-notch, including a spa and wellness center, indoor swimming pool, sauna, and even live entertainment options like karaoke. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected with ease.
I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

No English speeking personell and the Japanese restaurant is too expensive. I choose this Hotel because of the location for Shanghai Mart, but I am not going there next time.
